The Benefits Team is dedicated to providing quality, sustainable and inclusive benefits tailored to the diverse needs of our associates and their benefits eligible family members. Below, you’ll find highlights from our comprehensive benefits package, designed with you in mind. 

 For example, if you are in a benefits-eligible role, we offer the following at no cost to you: 

  • Quantum Health, our navigation and advocacy partner, serves as the “front door” to your benefits. They can connect you to all the health programs and other benefits that Nemours offers while answering plan questions, helping you find in-network providers, and much more. 
  • The Spousal Advantage Value Incentive (SAVI) plan offered through Catilize Health pays 100% of your out-of-pocket costs if you enroll in eligible alternative medical coverage. 
  • Exclusive benefits tied to the Nemours medical plans including:
    • Health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) of up to $2,000 for eligible associates
    • Expert medical consultation and second opinion services at no cost to you 
    • Virtual exercise therapy at no cost to you 
    • Centers of Excellence for surgical care with no deductible or co-pay for the red, blue and white plans; subject to the minimum required deductible for the green plan 
    • Type 2 diabetes reversal support at no cost to you 
    • Fertility treatment 
    • Maternity guidance
    • Breastfeeding support
    • Menopause support 
  • Life and AD&D basic insurance coverage at one times your earnings up to a $500,000 maximum paid by Nemours 
  • Short-term disability (60% of your base salary for up to 13 weeks) paid by Nemours 
  • Parental leave (100% of your base salary for up to 6 weeks) paid by Nemours 
  • Back-up child and elder care for a $15 co-pay 
  • Tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 annually 
  • Adoption assistance up to the IRS maximum of $17,280 in 2025 
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness support 
  • Wellness program 
  • Retirement savings plan, with matching contributions and non-elective contributions from Nemours for eligible associates 

And even if you are not enrolled in our benefit plans, all associates are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program with Lyra Health with eight free visits per year for you and your household members as well as unlimited free financial coaching from certified financial planners at Financial Finesse. 

You have the opportunity to speak with a benefits counselor to experience a personalized educational enrollment session. During your appointment, the benefits counselor will assist you in understanding your options, enrolling you in desired benefits, reviewing your elections and answering any questions. To ensure a thorough understanding of available benefits and a seamless enrollment process, we encourage newly hired or newly eligible associates to schedule an appointment with a benefits counselor. Appointments can be scheduled online. We also encourage you to watch this video that provides an overview of our benefits.

Enrolling in benefits is one of the most important tasks for new or newly eligible associates. To secure the benefits you want, you must enroll within 30 days of your date of hire or the effective date of your status change. Missing this deadline means you will have to wait until the next annual enrollment or when you experience a qualified life event (QLE). 

For voluntary life insurance benefits, if you do not enroll when first eligible, you may be required to provide additional documentation to apply for coverage at a later date. We encourage you to take advantage of the many benefits options available.
