2025 Benefits Annual Enrollment!
It’s that time of year again — annual benefits enrollment is here! Whether or not you elected benefits in the past, October 14-31 is the time for all benefits-eligible associates to review and select from the many benefits offered by Nemours Children’s Health. This is your opportunity to think through which benefits will best meet the needs of you and your family for the upcoming year.
We recognize that inflation and the rising cost of living pose challenges to many of you. To that end, we are pleased to announce there will be no increase to associate medical contributions this upcoming year. Other enhancements to our plan offerings this year include:
- Increased enrollment support: After getting feedback about the challenges of understanding our many benefit offerings, we have expanded the resources available to help, including personalized one-on-one sessions with a benefits counselor, virtual information sessions and online engagement opportunities with our HR Benefits Team.
- New permanent life insurance with long-term care rider: New optional benefit can protect your family with life insurance while also covering long-term care needs.
- Transition to Lincoln Financial Group: We are moving to a best-in-class administrator to support our life/AD&D, short/long-term disability, and other voluntary benefits (accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity.
We will continue to offer the following benefits:
- PTO buyback: Eligible associates can cash in up to 100 hours of PTO at 80% of its value.
- No changes to medical plan copays, deductibles or out-of-pocket maximums.
- No changes to dental, vision, identity protection of legal plans.
Making decisions about your benefits may come with some questions. To help answer them, we have included comprehensive FAQs on this site as well as a new video that provides a comprehensive overview of our benefits.
I also encourage you to attend one of the virtual information sessions scheduled throughout the annual enrollment period to get real-time answers from a benefits expert. View the schedule here. We’re also offering individualized sessions with benefits counselors by appointment and benefits “office hours” on Thursdays at noon when our HR Solutions Call Center team will be available for questions.
