  • Your current benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, etc.) will automatically carry over into 2026. However, there is still action required for the following:
    • If you wish to change your medical, dental, and/or vision plan elections to a plan other than what you chose in 2025.
    • If you enrolled in the SAVI plan, you have to re-attest. If you do not login and answer the SAVI attestation question, your coverage will not roll over.
    • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections do not roll over. You must make a new election each year if you want to contribute, even if you want the same amount as last year (this includes health care, limited purpose, dependent care, parking or transportation). You will have to submit a new election if you wish to make contributions for 2026.
    • Check and update your personal contact information to make sure you receive your medical insurance card. If you work remotely (full-time or hybrid), confirm your work location is correct. Review dependent eligibility to avoid claim reversals and non-insurance coverage that is your responsibility.
    • Income-based Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) enrollees must reapply using the one-page application and your prior year’s tax return(s).
    • If you are a new hire, have a status change or experience a qualified life event (QLE) such as marriage or the birth of a child in the last quarter of 2025 (during or after the annual enrollment period), you will need to make benefits elections for both 2025 and 2026 for your benefits changes to be active for both years.
  • You may make changes to your benefits elections during the enrollment period but be sure to click on “SUBMIT MY ELECTIONS,” then click on the ACCEPT button to complete the enrollment process. If you fail to complete this final step, your changes will NOT be saved for 2025.
  • Benefits selected during annual enrollment will be effective Jan. 1, 2026 (except those requiring insurance company approval).
  • If you are adding an eligible dependent to the Nemours benefits plans for the first time, you will be asked to provide documentation such as a birth or marriage certificate to verify his/her/their eligibility. When you complete your enrollment, you will be able to upload your applicable documents to the Nemours Benefits Enrollment portal. You don’t need to add these when you enroll, but keep in mind that your dependent(s) will not be enrolled with the carriers until the required documentation is supplied and eligibility approved. The deadline to submit documentation is Dec. 31, 2025.
  • We strongly encourage everyone to log in to:
    • Review all benefits to ensure they still meet both you and your family’s needs
    • Re-elect FSA contributions
    • Re-attest to the SAVI question
    • Verify your personal information and eligible dependents
    • Make sure your beneficiary information is up to date

For lower-income associates who qualify based on household income, there is an opportunity to apply for the Income-based Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA). This would provide assistance with your copays, deductible, and coinsurance. This benefit is available with our High PPO (previously the Red plan), EPO (previously the Blue plan) and Mid PPO (previously the White plan). You must complete a one-page application and submit it with your prior year tax returns.

If you are currently using the benefit, you will have to reapply for 2026. For additional information on eligibility, see the HRA FAQs and/or contact Nemours Benefits Support by calling 888.624.2387.

Nemours Children’s wants to reward you for engaging in healthy activities. That’s why you can earn 20% off your medical insurance premiums with the Associate Wellness Program! Complete the activities by Nov. 30, 2025, to save hundreds of dollars on your medical insurance premiums for the 2026 plan year. Please visit the Navigate Wellbeing Solutions portal for more information. Please note that any associate who is hired, rehired or has an eligibility change after Sept. 1, 2025, will automatically qualify for the discounted rates for 2026.

* Percentages indicate what you pay. ** If more than one person is covered in the Low Plan with HSA, the full family deductible must be met before benefits are paid.

1 All out-of-network benefits are subject to balance billing. If there is a discrepancy between the information here and the plan document, the plan document governs.

** Specialty medications included on the SaveOnSP drug list may be filled through the SaveOnSP program at significant cost savings to you. Manufacturer assistance for drugs on the SaveOnSP list requires program enrollment and will not be used to satisfy the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.

Payroll Contributions

Associate payroll contributions for the medical/pharmacy and dental plans will be taken by automatic payroll deductions each pay period. Please see the rate sheets for specific details.

Health Plan Costs

Nemours is committed to helping you manage your healthcare costs and will continue to cover the vast majority of benefits costs – about 85%. Associate contributions will increase slightly by $1.82 to $27.70 twice-monthly, pre-tax, depending on job status (full-time or part-time), wellness program participation, the plan you choose, and who is covered.

Remember, taking an active role in your own health care can help keep costs down:

  • Ask about the price of services and talk with your doctor about treatment options.
  • Reach out to Nemours Benefits Support for coordination of benefits. They are your one-stop shop for all benefit-related programs and services.
  • Programs like RxSS,  2nd.MD, and Carrum Health and others are designed to help you get the best care at the lowest cost.
  • Regarding prescriptions, try generic medications, compare pharmacy pricing, and check eligibility for co-pay assistance under the SaveOnSP program with Express Scripts.
  • Use telemedicine or urgent care instead of the emergency room.
  • Take advantage of wellness resources to stay healthy and participate in the Associate Wellness Program to earn points for healthy activities to enjoy a discount for your medical premiums.
  • If you are comfortable with a high deductible, consider the Low PPO with HSA plan (previously the Green plan), where you have lower premiums and get the triple tax advantages of an HSA. Plus, Nemours will contribute funds to your HSA!
  • If you are eligible and enrolled in an applicable non-Nemours insurance plan, consider the SAVI plan, where all your out-of-pocket expenses up to the ACA maximum are paid at 100%.
